2017 Plattsmouth Garden Club Garden Walk
June 11, 2017
 Garden Walk

If you would like your garden to be on the Plattsmouth Garden Club Garden Walk, please contact us at
plattsmouthgardenclub16@gmail.com.

Historical Perspective:
The Plattsmouth Garden Club was organized in 1934 and federated in 1935.  It was initially a social club where women visited each others' gardens informally after tea.  Since 1999, the Plattsmouth Garden Walk has become a biennial event in Plattsmouth and the surrounding community.  In 2011, the Plattsmouth Garden Club Garden Walk was combined with the Plattsmouth Conservacy Tour of Homes.  Seven beautiful and unique gardens and five historic homes were on display.  The monies collected from the sale of tickets was used to defray expenses and to provide funding for each organization's various projects.
Types of Gardens:
The types of gardens that have been on display were vegetable gardens, ponds, cottage gardens, cactus gardens, farm gardens, eclectic gardens, gardens that display art and many more.
Would you like to participate?
If you are interested in having your garden on display, please contact the Plattsmouth Garden Club at plattsmouthgardenclub16@gmail.com.

All participants receive gift certificates and their gardens are pictured in the Plattsmouth Journal.
Thank you:
We are forever grateful for the garden tour participants for opening their gardens for the public to view.
